Warrior Artists Unveil their Talent
Patriotic Mural at Veteran's Memorial
The Fullerton Art Students under the direction of Mrs. Marta Roeder in cooperation with the Nance County Development Agency and the Margaret Russell Foundation unveiled their community patriotic mural on Saturday, May 24th at 11am. The unveiling took place at the Nance County Veterans Memorial and Military Resource Center located on the north edge of Fullerton on Highway 14.
The morning's program began with "The Origin of 'Taps'," read by Jonathan Tilson. Kami Ulferts and Landi Peregrine performed "Taps." After the mural was unveiled there was a "Cornucopia" auction. Curtis Wetovick conduedct the auction in which original pieces of patriotic themed corn will be available. The proceeds will go to the 2015 Mural Fund.
Students involved in the mural project include: Tyler Babb, Krystal Bialas, Amanda Fetrow, Maggie Foland, Shelby Foland, Ashley Laster, Ellie Lesiak, Makenzie Lesiak, Jaden Meyer, Colin Nathan, Brianna Nolan, Landi Peregrine, Kaylynn Shepard, Ethan Shotkoski, Carly Sims, Kelly Steenson, Jonathan Tilson, Kami Ulferts, Tyson Cunningham and Nolan Hoffman.
