UPDATED: MORE Warriors take Ice Bucket Challenge
Those Challenged Respond!
Principal and Head Boys Basketball Coach Pat Larsen, Head Football Coach Ryan Haughton, and Assistant Football Coach Eric Frenzen accepted Head Volleyball Coach Plumbtree’s nomination to perform the widespread craze known as “the Ice Bucket Challenge.”
This challenge required them to fill buckets full of ice water to help raise awareness for ALS, a disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. After the challenge has been completed, the participants are encouraged to nominate others to do it, as well as donate to the ALS Foundation.
Principal Larsen nominated Dr. Anderson, Mrs. Carlson, and the Goldenrod Conference head basketball coaches. Coach Haughton chose to nominate the coaches spouses, including Lynn Haughton and Mrs. Larsen. Coach Frenzen nominated Dave Lassek, Dwayne Korte, and Coach Jeremy Wetovick.
