Junior High Football Team has Undefeated Season
Launch the media gallery 1 playerJr. High completed an undefeated season (4-0 )by beating Nebraska Christian 42-14 in the team’s final game of the season.. The 4-0 season was made up of victories over Riverside in the first game by a score of 28 to 6 which the game was called at halftime, 60-6 over Palmer, 86-16 over Cedar Valley and Monday Nights win over Nebraska Christian.
This year’s squad was led by 10- 8th graders including T. J. Dubas, Brenton Wetovick, Logan Gustafson, Elijah Norman, David Mangus, Levi Foland, Jaxon Kramer, James Lesiak, Ryan Hellbusch and Garret Malander. In addition the team also had 7- 7th graders including John Wetovick, Connor Sonderup, Kyle Knopik, CJ Pickrel, Brandon Rasmussen, James Wetovick and Isaac Gleason.
This season capped a perfect 8-0 Jr. High Football record for this years 8th grade team. The team continued to improve each and every week saving their best game for last. This group of young men worked hard each and every day in practice and continue to work hard in the class room.
