Hello Fullerton Elementary Families,

I want you all to know your school counselor is still here for you and your student! There are several ways to contact me and I’ve provided them all below. Email is one of the easiest and I have a phone number available for office hours. I’m excited to say we will have the option to video chat if you or your student wants to!

Also, I’m working hard to update my website with tips for handling parenting during this time, community resources, and activities for students. Please refer to list at the bottom of my page.

As a Reading Interventionist, I use Orton-Gillingham's approach to assist students with their reading.  This structured literacy approach introduces the idea of breaking reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds, and then building on these skills over time. It also pioneered the multisensory approach to teaching reading, which is a common component of effective literacy programs.
