Nebraska ChildFind provides information to parents, school personnel, and service providers on child development and special education for children from birth (or date of diagnosis) to age 21. ChildFind also helps parents access information on rights and resources to help them advocate for an appropriate education for their child.
Nebraska Autism Spectrum Disorders Network
The incidence of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) is increasing nationally and Nebraska is no exception. In the late 1990s, educators and parents requested the Special Populations Office of the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) to take a lead role in assisting school districts in providing appropriate services for students with ASD.

Nebraska Deaf-Blind Project
Technical Assistance Teams are individuals from around the state who have expertise in the areas of deafness, blindness and deaf-blindness. These individuals have gone through additional training in these areas. They are available to assist individuals with deaf-blindness, families, and others with information, training, consultation, assessment, follow up, and resources.
