Covid 19 Letter - 11/20/20
November 20, 2020
Dear Parents,
As local and state Covid-19 cases increase, we want to send out a few reminders to help you
and your family stay safe during the Thanksgiving holiday. While many of you have already
experienced or know someone who has experienced Covid-19 it is important to remember that
every person reacts differently. Some have very mild cases which looks like allergies (runny
nose, congestion, sore throat, headache and mild cough), however, others may have more
moderate to severe symptoms (difficulty breathing, chest pain, muscle aches and
nausea/vomiting), which can lead to more serious illnesses.
As we lead up to holiday season and prior to gathering with friends and family, please
remember to wear your mask, wash your hands and maintain 6-foot distance to prevent
contracting the illness and taking it to your loved ones.
Housekeeping:
If vou or a household member are not feeling well and have been tested please do the
following:
• Notify the school that there is a pending test
• Keep the household members home until the results are known
o Notify the school of the results whether it is negative or positive
• The school may require the results or a doctor's note in some cases
• Students may return to school after a timeline has been established
Please feel free to call with questions. We are here to help our community get through this
difficult time.
Be Safe, Be Strong, Be Warriors!
