Message from Dr. Anderson - 1/13/22

Message from Fullerton Schools:

As absences due to illness have continued to dramatically trend upward for both Fullerton students and staff we are highly encouraging everyone to please stay home if you are ill. Our goal is to keep our doors open and continue with in-person learning.

This week we have seen an increase in a variety of illnesses, including both Influenza and Covid. We have greatly appreciated the tremendous support and cooperation by our parents during this time! It has been truly amazing and we thank you all for working with us.

At this time, we are continuing with the same 10-day out of school approach with Covid positive cases for both staff and students that we used during the first semester. We very much hope to move to the 5-day minimum approach with recommended protocols, but we must first slow down our total illnesses to avoid shutting our doors to all students. Once we are able to make the change we will let everyone know how those protocols will work.

We are closely monitoring the entire situation each day with the goal to be able to keep everyone healthy and our school open.
