Fullerton Elementary wins Blue Ribbon School Award

Fullerton Elementary Receives National Blue Ribbon Award

 

On Wednesday, September 28, 2016, U.S. Secretary of Education, John B. King, recognized Fullerton Elementary School, Fullerton, Nebraska, as one of only 279 public schools in the United States as a National Blue Ribbon School for 2016. The award is based upon overall academic performance and being recognized as an Exemplary High Performing school.

 

Fullerton Elementary School was nominated by the Nebraska Department of Education and was one of only three elementary schools in Nebraska to receive the honor this year. This is a highly prestigious award and is the result of the tremendous dedication, sacrifice and hard work of our faculty, students, parents and community. 

 

The award was be presented to Elementary Principal Tammy Carlson, Title I Teacher Yetta Sullivan and Superintendent Dr. Jeff Anderson at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., on November 8, 2016.
